Seema Patel received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and residency training in anesthesiology from Baylor College of Medicine. During her training, she completed a total of eight months in cardiovascular anesthesia at the Texas Heart Institute, Michael E. Debakey VA Hospital, and Ben Taub General Hospital.
Currently, she works as a busy full-time anesthesiologist covering 12 different hospitals in Houston, where she performs a variety of anesthesia services, including that for general surgery, pediatric surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, endocrinologic surgery , ophthalmology, neurosurgery, regional anesthesia, and acute pain.
